A Circle of Positive Energy

Strange things are happening. When a loved one was recently diagnosed with metastasized breast cancer… it was now in her bones…I could not accept that. I CANnot accept it. Too much was happening to that family. So, I went to a healer.

At the same time, I thought to ask other family members and close friends to join me in prayer, or sending healing energy, or Karma, or whatever their belief systems suggested. It turned out that there were many, many people who joined with me at the same time I was with the healer (Tuesday morning)–and we were connected to the sick person, Barb, via speaker phone. I didn’t realize what a huge and powerful undertaking that was until afterward.

Something happened Tuesday morning. Barb began healing, for one awesome thing. I know something very powerful happened, some transference of energy, because I was completely drained physically and overwhelmed emotionally. This is really working!

So, I asked others to join me in prayer/sending healing energy. I signed Barb up with Silent Unity, a group that provides prayers 24/7 for a month. I asked friends, who included students at school and other friends. I realized that we have established a circle of energy and love around her.  And that reminded me of a book I’d read in my research for my novel, Heartbeat of the Mountain (still not published, unfortunately).

Going through the book, “The Circle is Sacred,” by Scout Cloud Lee, Ed.D, is an infusion of wisdom. Here are some of the portions I had underlined:

Whatever we do to any one thing in the great web of life, we do to ourselves, for we are all one.

Genetically, we are all 99.999% the same.

The key to the 99 is in how we treat the one.

When we spend our total attention investing in the beauty in all things, we become wealthy with beauty in and around us.

We use our circle to focus our intent…

We learn to focus, knowing that energy flows into our attention.

We must not set goals as a carrot on a stick in front of others. We must become the goal.

The circle is both the beginning and the end, the Alpha and the Omega…. The circle is the symbol for equality.

All these phrases resonated with me because they strengthened the vision I had of all these people helping me form a ginormous circle of loving and healing energy around Barb and her family. Drawing from the Source, or the Force, or God or the Cosmos, we are joining together in a truly divine process, acting together as one concentrated vehicle through which a healing miracle is occuring.

The book also quotes Nelson Mandela. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us. It’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

Please continue to join me–and our circle of loving and healing energy for Barb and her family–every day for the month of November.
